Foglifter's journey began when Amanda and Wayne Nicoletti, former owners of a Bean Around the World location in Vancouver, decided to transform their approach to serving coffee. Closing their doors in 2017, they reinvented themselves, opting to roast their own beans from their home in Shawnigan Lake.
Their meticulous approach is evident in the development of an outstanding new brand. Delving into roasting, they curated an impressive selection of coffees after gaining insights from Royal Importing's HQ location and exploring various coffee origins worldwide to enhance their sourcing.
Small Town to Big City
Foglifter seamlessly embodies both Vancouver Island and Vancouver, maintaining a presence in foggy Shawnigan Lake and showcasing their flagship cafe on Main St. in Vancouver.
Originally having a store selling Bean Around the World coffee from 2001, they closed in 2017 and re-emerged after a four-year hiatus. Now, with a fresh look and self-roasted coffee from the island, Foglifter graces Main St. with its renewed presence.
